Ensemble 212 is pleased to announce that the 2011-12 Annual Young Artist Competition Series is open to piano, strings, winds, brass, and voice. Two overall winners of the competition (one instrumental and one vocal) will perform with Ensemble 212 at the 4th Annual Gala Concert at Merkin Concert Hall - Kaufman Center on Wednesday May 30, 2012.

Objective: To showcase outstanding young musicians from the greater New York metropolitan area by providing opportunities to perform as a soloist with a professional orchestra.

Instrumental Category:	Piano, Strings, Woodwinds, Brass born on or after March 1, 1994
Vocal category:	All voice types born on or after March 1, 1982
Preliminary Round:	Postmark completed application with $75 application fee by Wednesday, February 15, 2012
Final Round:	Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Good Shepherd-Faith Prebyterian Church
Performance:	Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Merkin Concert Hall - Kaufman Center
