The Young Artist Competition series was initiated
in 2006 as an integral part of Ensemble 212's dedication to providing
performance opportunities for talented young musicians from the
greater metropolitan New York area. Each season, Ensemble 212 rotates
the age and categories of vocalists and instrumentalists for each
competition. Ensemble 212 is pleased to announce the following
categories for the 2008–09 Young Artist Competition series. This
season will feature:

The applicants will submit CDs as a preliminary round (scores
for the composition competition) and perform live for the final
round. The winners will perform with Ensemble 212 during the 2008-09
season.
