Flutist Jessica Aura Willis is a native of White Plains, NY. Her
earliest
musical training was during the summers at Interlochen Arts Camp
in
Michigan. While in high school, she attended Tanglewood's Boston
University Tanglewood Institute and participated in the New York
Youth Symphony's orchestra and chamber music
programs, which perform at Carnegie Hall.
Ms. Willis received her

studying under Tara Helen O'Connor. In that time, she attended
the Lake
Placid Institute, traveled to Germany and Italy to attended other
classes
and perform, and won the 2001 Baroque Concerto Competition, performing
the
C.P.E. Bach concerto in B Flat Major. Since graduating, Ms. Willis
has been
a soloist with the New Jersey Philharmonic performing Mozart's
Andante in C
Major and the Concerto in G Major. She performs regularly with
the NJPO,
Ensemble 212, and other orchestras based in the NY metropolitan
area.
Mostly an orchestral freelancer, she is excited to be a part of
several
chamber music concerts this season. For three summers, Jessica

at the Orford Arts Festival in Quebec with her teacher Robert Langevin,
with
whom she still studies. Ms. Willis is on faculty at the center
