Alex
Winter - Oboe and English Horn  A native of Los Angeles, Alex is now a senior oboe performance major at the Mannes College of Music. He has played with large and small ensembles in the LA and New York areas and has a particular affinity for chamber music. He has studied with David Weiss and John Mack; currently he is a student of Sherry Sylar, co-principal oboist of the New York Philharmonic. Summer programs have included master classes with Richard Killmer at the Banff Center and with Elaine Duvas at Domaine Forget. |
